The founder of Rhodes Consulting is one of our directors, Peter Perivolaris, and the company is operated under Peter's direction and management.

Peter has worked among a wide variety of SMEs in the Australian business community for almost thirty years. He has previously held general manager positions at Primex Products, a national importer in the gifts and homewares industry; and at Hardings Consulting. Peter has a financial background, being a member of CPA Australia, and he has also served as chief financial officer for both Consolo Ltd, an unlisted diversified investment company, and Oasis Horticulture, Australia's largest bedding plants nursery. Across the myriad of clients and industries Peter has worked with, he has broad business experience and knowledge.

In addition, Peter is a long serving member of CPA Australia's SME Committee, and was the NSW Committee's chairman for three years.

In 2006, Peter decided that there was a better way to serve the business community, by encouraging and educating SMEs to write and implement more effective business plans as a working document to drive their business growth, and established Rhodes Consulting for that purpose. Rhodes Consulting acts for a number of clients that started their relationship with us by having Rhodes prepare a new business plan for them, sometimes for the first time. Business plans are mandatory for seeking funding from banks and other lenders. We also have clients who have revisited their business plan after some years and requested it be refreshed and updated to be responsive to the dynamic nature of today's business world. Primarily we work with clients in an ongoing relationship to help grow their business and profits.
